One of those dreamed landscapes...

Today I bought a box of sidewalk chalk. I'd like to write wild poems at night--the length of entire blocks--just a little gift to people who walk.

And drawings? Maybe a masterpiece.

I feel a bit of color coming on.

It is one of the guilty little secrets of my life. Every year I get 2 to 3 boxes and my kids and I go wild...our side walk is art all summer.

It reminds me of Mary Poppins...

TAKE PICTURES! I want to see what a real artist does with them!

Oh my Gosh!!!! I bought sidewalk chalk about a year ago...and I wanted to go out at night and do some guerilla art or just write inspirational messages for anyone walking by but I chickened out:(
Go do it!

I love this idea! I was once a part of a sidewalk drawing festival. It was amazing! I'll never forget it.

Someone in Kansas City writes poems on the sidewalks that circle Loose Park. Whoever it is has done it for years, and everyone reads the poems as they pass.
