DREAM--5 little letters to remind that dreaming is like creation looking for itself.

"One day you will remember the Great Dream, and the way will become known to you. You entered into life through the veil of the Dream, because your reason for being here must be kept secret from you until you find your way home. You don't know who you are, but one fine day you will remember. It is like creation looking for itself."
~Lynn V. Andrews Power Deck: The Cards of Wisdom.

Andrews reminds us to have the courage to manifest our dreams in our lives....because dreaming, transformation, death, and rebirth are just a part of the training.

Go ahead--DREAM BIG. Dream AUTHENTIC.

These letters are part of an ongoing project:
"WORD OF THE DAY :: living life one word at a time."
Today's word is DREAM.
May these letters remind us that dreaming is the first step towards manifestation.

When I was a little tike I used to ask my Dad alot--"how do we know if we are not dreaming when we are really awake, and not awake when we are actually think we're dreaming?" I used to ask him "how do you know if we are not actually characters in somebody elses dream?" Yep, I really did ask those and ponder those questions all the time. My poor father had no answer for me.

Now that I've gained a few years under my belt--or more like Yoga pant wasteband---I think we are all part of a big dream. All our lives are these little dreams that create this big dream. I see it when I look at nature--and how naturally it does its thing with out ever thinking of it,pondering it, reflecting upon it. We, humans, on the other hand create a life that is dreaming. War is a group of people's dream. Falling in love is another dream. Following our heart--living big--that's another dream. What dream do you dream---that's an excellent question to ponder.

Peace & Love.

Have you ever thought of taking these word a day images and your writing and turning it into a book?

I feel like I have my big dream, a dream of a home for creativity, for myself, my family, my friends, and others, too. A dream of inspiration and spiritual awakening.

It's the little dreams, the daily dreams I struggle with. Hmph. That's annoying.

I need to find those Lynn V. Andrews cards. I remember adoring her fantasy novel trilogy when I was young. My sister and I loved it. Rifkin was the main character's name. She was a shaman warrior. Gosh. I loved those books.
