This is one of the ways that Bravery pays off:

My (rather big) Be Brave Action of the day: Ask our landlords if we can adopt Eve.

Their answer: a resounding YES!!

I'm gonna be a new dog-mama!!! :)

I'll be sending out baby announcements soon. She won't be "delivered" by her Fairy Dogmother until later in the week. I can hardly wait! This really feels too good to be true. I look forward to writing more about her very, very soon. I am simply beaming. :)

YAY JESSIE!!!!

She's beautiful!

I had to look at her twice - with her white toes, tummy & tail tip, she looks just like the dog I had growing up -

She's going to be a JOY in your life and you in hers - LOVE LOVE LOVE to you and all of your babies!!!

Huge congratulations - I just found your blog and I really love it.
My daughter has the same name as your new girl - it's a very special name for special girls!
I wish every happiness together.

Yay! I love black dogs (didn't know that they had trouble getting adopted) and she just LOOKS like she belongs to you!

We recently added to our doggy family, too--a rescue--I'll have to post pictures.

I've been trying to get up the courage to ask my landlords for cat #3 (she's a gorgeous all-black stray that gave birth to a litter that's been adopted out but she's still waiting for a family--we especially wanted her because we knew that all-black cats were so much less desirable to adoptee famillies), and you've motivated me to actually do it!

Yes, well, speaking of doggy-mama? Dinah, who was supposed to be spayed when the vet LOST HER? She's lactating.
