This is the winter I love.

It's in the 20's with big fat snowflakes falling from the sky. I'm not as interested in the sub-zero digets-- but this--this is the kind of winter I can live with.

I am so jealous. You think that living in Chicago, there would be some decent winter weather. Alas, we've had a total of five days with snow on the ground, and it never sticks more than a day. Today, I walked around in a goddamn t-shirt.

Well, I hope you think of me when you're shoveling the driveway.

As a girl growing up in Chicago in the 60's and 70's killer blizzards were all the rage with Mother Nature. Living in North Carolina now I almost never see the snow.

Thanks for the picture. I love those big fluffy snowflakes too. The pure stillness created after a snowstorm blankets the earth is something few southern cities get to experience.

I would like to say that I also love those big fat fluffy snowflakes as well...but the truth is that I have never seen them enough in my life to know if I truly love them.
But I certainly love the idea, and the image, of them.
Love, love, love!!!
