As luck would have it, we'll be living near the bus-line and an extensive bike trail system. Ok--so Vinny and I will now be tied to the hip when it comes to (non-public) transportation... but I figure that:
#1. It's good for our relationship
and
#2. We'll be much more environmentally friendly...and that, I guess you could say, is a good thing.
I never liked driving a damn mini-van anyway--it was very damaging to my tough grrl image. ha! Not to mention, if I want, I can READ on the bus. :) As for the new car...I no longer have any doubts that we made the right decision.
The universe works in strange (although sometimes vexing) ways. I think I'll call it a night.

Maybe it's because I'm a Mom, maybe it's because I live in Utah, but I LOVE my mini-van.
When I'm not cursing it for being a broken piece of crap, that is.
:)
Not even a mini-van could damage your image loralee!
ps.
to all mini-van drivers:
I hope I do not offend.
pss.
if you're from Utah and you drive a mini-van then you are TOTALLY cool in my book.

psss.
loralee,
what are you still doing up???
Wow, things are lining up for you. You keep asking, being specific about what you need, and there it is. I like this kind of magic.
Sorry,
I'm not a fan of mini vans AT ALL!
Having grown up walking, riding buses and trains I hope that you find some pleasure in it and that the public transportation system is good.
I'll repeat what I wrote about your job-search post - everything else is falling into place. It's only a matter of a little time before the job completes the picture. :)
